In a dutch oven or deep pan Add 1tbs of olive oil, onion, carrots, celery chopped, garlic. Sauté vegetables for 5-10 min until tender.
Add in and brown ground beef and pork.
Once the meat is browned, add in tomato paste, crushed tomatoes and red wine, italian spices, beef bouillon cube, salt and pepper to taste.
Bring sauce to a boil for 5 min, then turn down the heat to a low simmer and cover with a lid.
Check on the Bolognese sauce every 30 min and give it a stir. Let it simmer for at least 1 hour and then keep simmering until it’s a thick consistency (your preference)
When the sauce is done add in honey.
