Maple Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats are the easiest healthy breakfast to have on hand. Oats will fill you up and keep you full all morning! Make these the night before and early work or school day and they are just waiting for you to grab out of the fridge and throw in a lunchbox.

I’m heading back to work after the holidays and that means I’m looking for a quick easy breakfast to grab as I’m rushing out the door in the morning (likely due to the fact that I’m running late because I haven’t had to use a morning alarm for two weeks). Overnight oats fit the script for this! These Maple Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats are simple to make the night before work or school and they are just waiting for you to grab out of the fridge and throw in a lunchbox the next morning.

Serves: One Serving (I make four individual servings at one time)

Time : 5 minutes

Ingredients for Maple Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats:

  • Oats (old fashioned or quick oats)
  • Milk of choice (Almond milk is a great low calorie dairy free option)
  • Apple
  • Maple Syrup (pure 100% Maple syrup)
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla Extract

Instructions for Maple Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats:

  1. Use a small container with lid (I use the 2 cup Pyrex containers or a ball jar with a lid)
  2. Add 1/3 cups of oats to the container
  3. Add 1/2 cup of apple (diced) to the container
  4. Add 1/2 Tablespoon of maple syrup to the container
  5. Add a dash of cinnamon and vanilla extract to the container
  6. Add 1/2 cup milk to the container
  7. Stir, place lid on container, and keep in the fridge for up to 5 days.

*Note* Maple Cinnamon Apple Overnight Oats can be enjoyed cold or warm. If you prefer them warm you can heat them in a microwave for 30 seconds.
